Every seed and plant we grow is individually selected for its color, texture, and sustainability in our local 6a growing zone. This attention to detail ensures that each bouquet or wreath is not only visually stunning but also environmentally friendly.
Our dried floral products are available in a range of sizes and price points. You’re welcome to peruse the shop for product offers or if you have a specific request submit a contact form.

At Thistledown Herb Farm I approach growing from a multifaceted approach. There are a lot of different plants in my space and they have many different purposes.
The native plants I grow thrive in the yard, require minimal to no additional watering once established and create food sources & habitats for pollinators and other insects.

Fresh bouquets isn’t the main thing around here, but while the flowers are blooming they’re always available.
I love creating petit arrangements of various blooms, textures, scents and heights.

Growing
Thistledown
Maybe Thistledown was born on a whim or maybe it was a lifetime of playing in the dirt. I guess it depends on how you look at it, but life is funny and if you think about it most things are like that.
Either way, Thistledown is a backyard microfarm located in mid Michigan. I grow around 1000 sq ft of garden beds (and I’m always thinking about where I can expand next). It’s a lot of trial and error. It’s a lot of happy successes and sad fails, but I’ve learned that each failure is just an opportunity for something new.
